A skeleton of this album was put down in the house before it was recorded in Dublin and Holland. The dynamic range of the tracks, from the heavy dub rhythm of Fire on Babylon to the angelic a cappella of In This Heart, commands immediate attention.
The energy possessed by Sinead’s vocals on Fire was almost impossible to contain, but we managed to trap it on tape somehow.
Working with Bomb the Bass’s Tim Simenon was a hugely enjoyable experience, too.
