Recorded in the sweltering heat of July in Atlanta, Georgia. Two entirely new tracks were put down for this album, after we’d set up live and taken everything including the vocals.
Retrospective presented the additional attraction of working with one of my all-time favourite drummers, Jerry Marotta.
The session also allowed us to record a beautiful song Amy had penned called Point Hope. The song’s about a trip the girls took up to a controversial Alaskan nuclear waste disposal site of the same name, and can be downloaded from a number of sites.
All proceeds go to the Honor the Earth campaign, which the girls have held close to their hearts over the years.
